Now, I admit that I might be labeled a little old school, but there is one thing that bothers me when it comes to this new technological era that we live in.
Cell Phones in the Bathroom
That's right, I am one of the people in the world that feel that cell phones should not be used in the bathroom. Let me paint a picture for you. I was in the bathroom the other day at work and as I was doing what you are supposed to be doing in there, I heard someone's cell phone ring from one of the stalls. Now, you know it is bad when I thought to myself, "Please don't answer that phone!"
Well, I was not so lucky, he answered it. And then goes on to have a full conversation with the person on the other line. I mean, honestly people, do you really want to be on the phone with someone and hear toilets flushing, people washing their hands, you name it. Because, let me clue all of you in on something, WE CAN HEAR IT ON THE OTHER END. And when we do, it creates a sense of awkwardness for all of us.
Now, everyone likes to think that their job in important and that if they miss that call, bad things are going to happen. But let me tell you this. You are not that important that you can not take time to do what everyone does and do it in private. And if you are, you are really underpaid.
OK, time for me to get off of my soapbox for the day.
Everyone have a great day, and remember, don't answer it!
